A Kid’s Guide to Staying Safe at Home

The COVID-19 pandemic has left many families more vulnerable. We have also seen a rise in family conflicts and violence in Singapore. Children are impacted too. They may witness violence, face abuse or suffer neglect. The risks are higher as they are stuck in confined spaces, unable to tell someone and are not as visible in the community. This tip sheet aims to help children recognise their body warning signs when they feel unsafe, and provides advice to help them stay safe.
