Temasek Foundation distributed seven rounds of masks to Singapore residents to help the community stay safe during the pandemic. These included free reusable masks in June/July 2020, September/October 2020, November/December 2020, March 2021 and January 2022, as well as medical grade single-use and N95 hospital grade masks in August/September 2021. The last round of mask distribution was conducted in February/ March 2022, when lower income families could collect medical grade surgical masks.
Temasek Foundation thanks its partners and volunteers for supporting the various mask distributions, and are grateful for the staff of these organisations, as well as corporate and individual volunteers from all walks of life who stepped forward to assist with the distributions and respond to public enquiries. Their support has enabled the distribution of free masks to help Singapore families stay safe and protected during COVID-19.
