Product Questions
Who manufactured the masks, and what are they made of?
The MaskSafe DET30™ masks for adults and children are produced by DETERMINANT, a retail brand of Hong Kong-based textile manufacturing company, Esquel Group.

The masks have three layers of protection: the outermost layer is water repellent and antimicrobial; the middle layer performs particle filtration, while the innermost layer is made of light woven cotton fabric for comfort.
Are the masks safe? What’s the efficiency level of the mask?
All masks distributed under Stay Prepared’s StayMasked initiative have been tested by multiple laboratories to pass required safety standards. The MaskSafe DET30™ masks for adults and kids have been tested against various bacteria and viruses, with 94% effectiveness against Influenza A virus, an enveloped virus like the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
How long can I use the mask for?
Each MaskSafe DET30™ mask can be washed up to 30 times. Each mask kit contains two masks and on the basis of a “wear one, wash one” principle, should last for 2 months of daily use.

Do ensure that the mask is washed according to the guidelines provided in the mask kit after every use. Washing and drying is very simple but needs to be done correctly so the mask remains effective for a longer period of time.
Are there sizes to the masks? Are there child-sized masks?
MaskSafe DET30™ Kids masks are designed for children aged 3 to 12 years old.

Sizes
Adult: 17.5 cm (width) by 9.5 cm (height) for those more than 12 years of age
Kids: 15 cm by 8 cm for children aged 3 to 12, or adults who prefer smaller masks
My child is below 2 years of age. Can he / she wear the mask?
Face masks of all types are not recommended for babies, children with special needs and for young children below 2 years of age, for child safety reasons.

Children ought to stay at home and if they need to travel out, maintain a safe distance (>1m) from people whom they do not live with. Parents should also ensure children practise hand hygiene, by washing their hands with soap and water frequently or using hand sanitisers.
The stickers provided in the kids mask kit are a nice touch. Are they available for pre-order and can we select our preferred designs?
You won’t be able to select your preferred designs, but children can have some fun swapping stickers among their friends.
Payment Questions
What payment modes do you accept for purchase?

Returns, Exchanges and Cancellation Questions
Can I seek a refund for my mask if I have not redeemed it?
A MaskSafe pre-order made on stayprepared.sg/buymasks or DBS PayLah! may be cancelled and refunded by calling the hotline before Friday 2 October 2020, 9.00pm, provided no redemption (partial or full) has been made.

Please allow 3 to 5 working days for the refund to be made via the original payment mode. After Friday 2 October 2020, 9.00pm, there will be no refunds for purchased masks. You may collect pre-ordered masks any time before Sunday 4 October 2020, 11.59pm.
Can I seek refund for my mask after redemption?
Due to hygiene reasons, all masks once redeemed and collected, cannot be returned or refunded.
My mask is damaged. Can I do an exchange or get a refund?
If you receive a mask with a manufacturing defect (damaged / torn upon redemption or purchase), you may approach the information counter at any Community Centre / Club to inform them of your situation no later than Friday 2 October 2020 (during operating hours). You must bring along your original item and personal identification for verification.

Privacy and Data Questions
Where did you get our data from? How do you store the data collected during the distribution? What happens to my data after this?
